Job Description

The Childcare Center of the Hamptons is seeking energetic teachers that have knowledge and experience with children to create healthy, supportive and challenging learning environments. Additionally, this teacher must be able to develop meaningful lesson plans. This teacher should be passionate, nurturing and experienced educators to join our childcare program.

Responsibilities:

Toddler Head Teacher:

Interact affectionately and respectfully with children. Consistently provide stimulating activities that will support their emotional, intellectual and social development. Keep an open line of communication between families regarding their child’s developmental growth and transitions. Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures while supervising the children at all times. Offer and share ideas and materials with co-workers. Able to develop weekly lesson plans.

Qualifications:

Qualifications: At Least 9 credits in Early Childhood, Human Development or related fields OR on a study plan working towards a BA in Early Childhood education or related field

*Fluent in Spanish a plus*

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour
