Description:

Pre K 4 teacher needed for a class of 12 wonderful students. Monday - Friday 8am to 3pm.

Responsibilities:

Create an environment were relationships are primary, learning is fun and all are welcome. Organization of curriculum/lesson planning, observations and documentation required.

Manage family communication using Brightwheel.

Support social emotional learning using Second Step.

Participate in Quality Stars required trainings.

Maintain an Aspire account with NY Works for Children.

Cooperate with teacher assistant to run an organized, healthy classroom.

Attend staff meetings and social functions of staff.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of Teaching Strategies/Creative Curriculum a plus!

OCFS Lead Teacher requirements must be met, Certified NYS teacher preferred.
