Description:

Requirements

Consistently adhere to NYS Group Family Child Day Care Regulations
Pass a background check and get fingerprinted
OCFS Medical Statement signed by doctor, prior to start of employment
Reliability and punctuality

Responsibilities:

Supervise, monitor, and participate in children's indoor and outdoor activities
Follow a consistent daily routine
Change diapers, assist with toilet training
Feed infants
Keep records of children's progress, routines and interests and relay needed information to parents
Assist in preparing food and serving meals
Maintain a clean and sterile environment

Qualifications:

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with adults and children
Ability to lift, bend and stand for extended periods
Ability to obtain CPR certification (not required, but preferred)
At least 2 years experience caring for 3-8 children ages 6 weeks-12 years old
Degree/training/certification in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
