Description:

Seeking assistant teacher for highly regarded early childhood program in Montclair, NJ, serving children between 12 months and 5 years old. Position is flexible, and may be part-time or full-time.

Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in providing appropriate activities promoting young children's optimal social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Celebrate individual discovery and learning of the children, while fostering community and belonging.

Qualifications:

BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred, CDA at minimum
At least one year experience working with very young children
Knowledge of early development and passion for early childhood
Excellent communication skills
Reliable, flexible, and eager for professional growth
Desire to be part of a team
