Description:
The Pre-K Assistant Director will assist the Director in the overall management and supervision of the Pre-K program. The Assistant Director will be responsible for ensuring that the program meets all state and local regulations, as well as maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for the children.

- Assist the Director in the overall management and supervision of the Pre-K program
- Ensure that the program meets all state and local regulations
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for the children
- Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum and activities
- Supervise and evaluate staff members
- Communicate with parents and families regarding their child's progress
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring of staff members
- Attend meetings and trainings as required
Physical Demands
The Pre-K Assistant Director must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
Work Environment
The Pre-K Assistant Director will work in a classroom setting, and may be exposed to noise, dust, and other environmental factors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a Pre-K program
- Knowledge of state and local regulations for Pre-K programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff members and families
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Minimum Education Level: CDA Credential
Preferred Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
