Description:

The Association to Benefit Children (ABC) currently has a lead infant/toddler teacher position available at Cassidy’s Place (419 E 86th Street) in the Early Childhood/Early Head Start program.

Teachers in the Early Head Start program at Cassidy’s Place work with children birth-age 3. The position is full time, Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm (unpaid one hour lunch).

Responsibilities:

Lesson planning, conducting assessment, and curriculum implementation
Maintaining a safe, organized learning environment
Maintaining accurate and timely classroom records/documentation

Qualifications:

A minimum of an infant/toddler CDA (Child Development Associate) OR AA in ECE
NYS Early Childhood Educator license preferred OR TA Certificate OR Certificate in process with a study plan
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Minimum Education Level: CDA Credential

Preferred Education Level: NYS Teacher Certification
