Salary/Wage: $75,000 - $90,000 a year (HIRING BONUS $1500 after 6 Months)

Description:

Educational Director MUST be a FUN, ENERGETIC committed individual with a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families, while effectively and efficiently running all preschool operations. The Education Director promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children under his/her care and works closely with the teaching team to create an environment of learning while keeping parents informed of the progress of their child.

Responsibilities:

*Job Responsibilities: Manages School staff by , evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans. Assists with the implementation of the creative curriculum (provided by the DOE). Provides coaching, communication, and interpreting standards with teachers. * Knowledge of DOHMH article 47 and DOE regulations a MUST. Bi-lingual is a plus!

Qualifications:

At least TWO years of Education Director experience in a Preschool or daycare setting. Along with a minimum of two years experience as an Education Director, applicants MUST have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and MUST have an NYS teaching certification in B-2, 1-6, N-6th, Prek-6th.

Minimum Education Level: NYS Teacher Certification

Preferred Education Level: Master's Degree
